Notes: This object is the southeastern most of a group of 6 cataloged open clusters in Cassiopeia that are in 1.3 degree line, running southeast to northwest. See this image of the entire chain by Don McCrady. The others in this chain that I have imaged (from southeast to northwest) are NGC 7790, NGC 7788, Frolov 1 and Harvard 21, and King 12. Berkeley 58 is also the first entry in "Star Clusters", by Brent Archinal and Steven Hynes., owing to its 2000.0 Right Accession of 00h 00m 12s. "Star Cluster" lists the size of Berkeley 58 as 5.0 arc minutes. The central core of stars of NGC 7790 can be seen to the northwest (upper right)
