Notes:

Same sort of issues imaging with the 14.5" as with the 8" (see 8" version) ... hazy skies, brightening moon, and periods of thin high clouds.

V = 10.1;  Size 6.9x3.5;  SB = 13.4;  PA = 13d

17.5": very bright, very large, elongated ~N-S, 5'x2', very bright core, stellar 
nucleus.  A mag 13 star is at the W edge 0.9' from the center and a brighter mag 
11 star is off the NE side 2.7' from center.  Visible in 16x80 finder.
