| Notes: | Well, I thought I'd give this a try ... NGC 404 is "not much to look at", but it is easy to find. The bright star is Mirach (Beta Andromeda), at 2.08 visual magnitude. The small galaxy is centered in this image. This is as good as I could process out the huge glow from Mirach, without degrading the rest of the star field |
